I am sending this message because I would like to introduce you to Commissioner Walter Duke, he is up for re-election to the Dania Beach City Commission. Walter is a successful businessman who lives and works in Dania Beach. He has been a strong advocate for his constituents as a member of the Dania Beach City Commission, and has done what is right and fair for our community. He has been instrumental in relieving the tax payers of any undue financial burden by focusing on expanding our commercial tax base, supporting our marine industry and holding the line on property taxes. He has also been instrumental in cleaning up downtown Dania Beach, and has worked closely with local residents and businesses to begin a process of neighborhood revitalization. He has also pushed to revitalize our beach area and solve our long term flooding issues. I believe we would be very fortunate to have Walter serve on the Dania Beach City Commission another term of four years so he can complete the good work he has started.
